The Führer of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) Nigel Farage flew into Belfast today ostensibly to support his candidate for the European Parliament, Henry Reilly and a motley crew of wannabe UKIP councillors.

First port of call was Belfast's famous Crown Bar where Farage and his entourage were refused permission to film one of their notorious 'photo opportunities'. They found refuge in the nearby Europa hotel where Farage claimed immigrants were driving down wages and  said "Britain is becoming the cheap labour economy and I don't think that is really socially a very desirable place for us to be." He singled out Romanians and Bulgarians in particular. Two weeks ago a Romanian man had faeces thrown at him during a sickening racist attack in east Belfast and there are fears Belfast is becoming the race hate capital of the United Kingdom. So thanks for your timely intervention Nige.

After being shunned by the Crown and crawling to the Europa (oh the irony) our Nige met up with our old pals Henry Reilly, Rub McGee (aka Robert McKee) and purveyor of pirate DVDs Bill (Bollocks) Hill.

Oul Henry will be no stranger to regular readers of LAD and we very much miss his late night ramblings on Twitter where on more than one occasion it appeared that he had perhaps indulged in too much of his nightly medicine. Rumour has it that if you need a lift from Henry anywhere these days you might be out of luck.

Rub McGee and Bill Hill are altogether more worrying drinking buddies for Farage.

Britain First have been in the headlines recently for launching 'invasions' of mosques in Glasgow and Bradford. Newspapers in Scotland have called into question the source of 'army' bibles handed out during these raids. Asked where the bibles might have come from, Jim Dowson said: "I've no idea. We buy bibles all the time, sometimes about 2,000 at a time. We must have got them cheap".

The Electoral Commission have been forced to change their rules after Dowson was allowed to use the slogan 'Remember Lee Rigby' on on voting slips in next week's European Elections.

Jim'll Fix It

Does anyone remember Jim (Dodgy) Dowson?

The Scottish shit-stirring windbag was very prominent in the early days of the fleg protests and was likely to be seen at Belfast City Hall wielding his trusty bucket collecting money for "loyalist prisoners" or whatever cause he was "supporting" that week.

So successful was Dodgy at the old shit-stirring thing that he was swiftly arrested by the peelers - pretty much at the same time as fellow C.U.N.T.s (Citizens Under Nationalist Threat) Wee Jamie Bryson and Willie (The Tazer) Frazer.

Before getting involved in saving Belfast from the horror of Belfast City Hall only flying the Union Fleg on designated days (in common with other U.K. cities) Dowson (a former Calvinist Minister) had been involved in all sorts of dodgy money making schemes exposed by anti-fascist group Hope Not Hate.  His so-called Life League - an extremist anti-abortion group specialised in sending photographs of foetuses to schools and the like.

Most famously Dowson was fund raiser for the BNP and managed the membership of the right-wing organisation from his HQ in Dundonald. Dowson subsequently fell out with Nick Griffin over, you guessed it money, but not before some high profile industrial tribunal cases, claims that Dowson "owned" the BNP and rows over European funding. Dowson finally 'quit' the BNP (he claims he was never a member!) " after being accused of groping a blonde activist".


Before leaving the BNP in 2010 the Scottish Daily Record published an expose of Dowson detailing his criminal convictions including breach of the peace in 1986, possession of a weapon and breach of the peace in 1991 and criminal damage in 1992. He was forced out of his local Orange Lodge and took part in demonstrations against fellow Orangemen, attacking them as "atheists and boozers" after he was "born again".

Dowson subsequently set up a rival far right racist group called 'Britain First' in 2011 with fellow BNP outcast and trusted lapdog Paul Golding using the database of contacts he had gathered in his Dundonald operation to secure support - and funding.

After his arrest in March 2013 Dowson set up an offshoot of Britain First - the Protestant Coalition with fellow hardliners Wee Willie Frazer, former UPRG man Davy Nicholl, Tiger's Bay Loyalist Bill (Bollocks) Hill, Woodvale self-confessed "dangerous man" Rab McKee and notably Paul Golding.

Jim Dowson's time at the Protestant Coalition came after a very public row on social media with the PUP's Izzy Giles when he launched a series of homophobic tirades.

It's worth pointing out at this point that as part of Dowson's bail conditions he is banned from using social media. Izzy was unconvinced that Jim was obeying this ruling.

Not long after the Protestant Coalition apologised for Dowson's rant and quickly thereafter Dowson ostensibly left the party. We have it on very very good authority that Dowson was told to step down by "the boys".

Dowson has due to his bail conditions been quiet in Northern Ireland of late but has found other ways to stay active notably via the Facebook account of one 'Alice Dowson'. Other loyalists (even Twat King Cole) have been quick to pick up on this but to the best of our knowledge no action against 'Alice' has been taken by the authorities.

Yesterday the world was rocked to learn that one of the few remaining members of the Protestant Coalition, Rab McGee had quit citing "health and family problems" (but no mention of a run in with some paramilitaries last week).

With Hill, Golding and Nicholl leaving during 2013 that only leaves Willie Frazer (and possibly So It Is Sam) from the remaining "Gang Of Shite".

But what of Dowson?

As 'Alice' he continues to share the fascist filth peddled on Britain First's vile Facebook page.

And the big news: Jim is back in the fleg game telling Britain First's 131,000 gullible Facebook followers that "every town in Ulster has 'British zones' and in these areas people feel united and safe" - try telling that to the people of Carrick and Larne Jim!

We hope Dowson's bail conditions are relaxed soon and he is allowed to speak in public. He is the greatest advertisement for a liberal, tolerant, progressive pluralist society anyone could hope for.

Bryson's Folly

Wee Jamie Bryson has thrown his hat in the ring for the 2014 European elections - so the failed hunger striker tells Alex Kane.


All at the LAD bunker wish him every success, we really do.  If he does get elected, he may learn how the real world works and also how insignificant Are Wee Country is in the grand scheme of Europe.  Unfortunately, it probably won't bestow upon him some grown up views.

It would seem Bryson thinks the European parliament is a bit like a council chamber and that he can bring about wholesale change for the Pravince of Ulster's Pradisdent Unionist Loyalist People (PULP), that well known ethnic minority which is denied access to basic human rights such as free health care, free speech, free education and clean drinking water. The list goes on and on but the most basic of those human rights, the right to march anywhere and anytime, is being denied Mr Bryson and the PULP, just as it is being to denied millions across the world.  LAD has discovered the UN itself is looking into the matter (meanwhile, North Korea publicly executes 80 people for allegedly watching TV).


Jamie's BFF (that's the kids speak these days) Wullie Frazer will be assisting in Bryson's Euro campaign while standing for election himself in Newtownards.  Frazer and Bryson will be drawing on considerable collective experience in seeking a mandate which has failed to bring anything close to success thus far. Residents of Newtownards will be thrilled to learn that Markethill man Frazer, wants to represent them.

LAD wonders if Bryson will be funding his own £5000 deposit for the election?  We're not sure what the going rate is for a PULP mouthpiece these days or the type of funding an independent candidate can accumulate.  Given that previous turnouts in Euro elections in Are Wee Country fall between five and six hundred thousand, if that is repeated in 2014 Bryson will need to poll over 13,000 votes to avoid losing his deposit.  Are Bryson's academic friends helping out as part of some bizarre experiment in validity?  One website offering advice to would be independent EU candidates, states that the cost of running a campaign are huge, spending limits ranging from £270,000 - £360,000.

Maybe with Are Glorious Loyal Pravince operating outwith the boundaries of rational politics, this figure can be ignored.  One thing that can't be though, is that an independent candidate has never been directly elected to the European parliament from the UK.  So it may be more worthwhile sticking a tenner on an accumulator picked by Willie Frazer's nasal hair.

All at LAD, as do many others across Are Pravince, look forward to seeing Jamie's manifesto.  It will undoubtedly cover the Common Agricultural Policy fairly comprehensively, given how pivotal farming is to the local economy. Other highlights we'd expect to see must surely be Horizon 2020, UK government opt out of EU justice and home affairs decisions, and PEACE funding.  Won't it?

LAD are also interested to know which of the seven political groupings within the European parliament Mr Bryson plans on affiliating with, or would he do the righteous thing and become a (Non-Inscrit) NI, literally?

Who exactly does Bryson expect to vote  for him?

No doubt he can draw support from his friends in "legal circles" having acted as 'legal adviser' to disgraced former BNP fund raiser and ousted Protestant Coalition chief  Jim (Dodgy) Dowson back in July.

Bryson's legal speciality is of course in dealing with civil rights abuses and surely he can count on support from Northern Ireland's Jewish community thanks to his in depth knowledge of 1930's Nazi persecution.

Perhaps Bryson is hoping for support from members and former members of the UVF having claimed on Twitter that the outlawed organisation were not terrorists.

 As Alex Kane rightly commented "Try telling that to their victims and the families of their victims."

So what is Bryson's raison d'être; He doesn't seriously expect to get elected so is this just another  shameless self-publicity stunt?

Frazer: Abu having a laugh?

We all looked on horrified as this morning's events unfolded. We knew he was going to do it, he told as much beforehand. Yet still, deep down we didn't believe it. It took that first image on Twitter for us actually to believe that yes, Willie Frazer has indeed turned up to a British court of law dressed as Abu Hamza. The horror quickly turned to laughter as the news spread quickly on social media and the bizarre media circus was shared far and wide. The occasion was so bizarre that Willie achieved what we think he had hoped for. The spectacle has gone national, with Channel 4 news running the story. Yet again Northern Ireland has been thrust onto the national stage and yet again we are left looking like the sadly ridiculous drunk relative at a wedding who makes a total arse of themselves.


Now the dust has settled and the laughter has (partially) abated, the initial horror has returned. Just why would Willie Frazer and his cohorts wish to cause such a scene? Willie explained things in his own unique manner outside the court today. "The law that they are trying to charge me with was brought out to deal with extreme Muslims", Willie claimed. "Who do they charge? The first man charged in the United Kingdom is a protestant from Northern Ireland"[1], he boldly asserted. These are very serious and daring claims to make. They are also untrue, and have been fabricated for no other reason than to enable Willie to create a media circus.

 Let's take a look at Willie's claims in a little more depth:
"The law that they are trying to charge me with was brought out to deal with extreme Muslims"

 The Facts:
The offences to which Willie refers are those covered by the Serious Crime Act 2007. Sections 44-46 of this act deal with encouraging or assisting an offence[2]. These sections have slight differences from one another but together they replaced the more commonly known offence of incitement in England, Wales and Northern Ireland[3]. These sections were not introduced specifically to deal with Muslim extremists. The truth is that these offences were already partially covered in some form by prior incitement law.

 The Facts:
Willie Frazer is not the first man to be charged under these offences in the United Kingdom. Sections 44-46 of the Serious Crime Act have been applied in a number of different cases. There are too many to fully research and list here, however we have included a few below to highlight the absurdity of Willie's claims.

 Amed Pelle was jailed for 33 months after pleading guilty to a breach of section 44. Pelle had used Facebook to encourage other to commit offences during riots in Nottingham. [4][5][6]

 Jordan Blackshaw and Perry Sutcliffe-Keenan were jailed for offences under sections 44 and 46 of the Serious Crime Act at Chester Crown Court. These offences were linked to encouraging offences during rioting. [7]

 Jake Davis from Shetland, and Ryan Cleary from Essex were both charged with offences under sections 45 and 46 of the Serious Crime Act. Their charges were related to computer hacking. [8][9]

Omar Sadique was convicted at Maidstone Crown Court of assisting in the supply of controlled drugs contrary to section 46 of the Serious Crime Act 2007. [10]

David Wain was jailed for offences under sections 44-46 of the Serious Crime Act in relation to the supply of chemicals and drugs. [11]
In Summary

 The cases listed above show that Willie Frazer was lying about his motivation in dressing as a Muslim cleric today. What was his real motivation? If we were to hazard a guess it would be that Willie wanted to create a media frenzy to attract attention and to keep himself where he feels he belongs, in the spotlight. One thing is certain, his actions were decidedly racist and contrary to his vocal demands for civil and human rights. Surely the time has come for this man to fade into obscurity?

Is Jim There - Izzy versus the Protestant Coalition

Oh dear... not a a good start to the week for ex-BNP man Jim (Dodgy) Dowson's so-called Protestant Coalition. For the first time his bunch of shit-stirring, homophobic, bigoted political dinosaurs have been called to account by another Unionist Party - surprisingly it was not Basil McCrea's NI21; unsurprisingly nor was it the DUP or TUV.

Yesterday this abhorrent shower, fronted by local comedian Wee Willie Frazer and uber-Prod Sam McCrory posted a vile homophobic rant on their Facebook page criticising a group of PUP activists who had the temerity to attend the Newry Pride event at the weekend.

This particular rant did not go un-noticed by one of the group who attended the event and promptly took to Twitter to express her feelings.

The Protestant Coalition were quickly 'persuaded' to remove their original post by persons unknown but not before we were able to display it on our Facebook Page.

Not to be outdone the PC quickly replaced their original post and fired off another rant at the so-called loony lefties and liberals who criticised them.

Izzy was having none of it and actually took to Facebook to confront the author of this piece, someone she believed to be none other than the financial backer of the Protestant Coalition and erstwhile Leader (accoding to the Electoral Commission) - none other than Mr. Jim Dowson himself - a man banned from social media under the terms of his bail conditions.

The un-named Protestant Coalition 'author' was quick to inform anyone who would listen what a fabulous guy Jim Dowson is, kindly pointing out that 'he' helps close friends suffering from HIV "some via drug use some via their sexuality".

We were beginning to think the whole saga was over until the Protestant Coalition then decided it was time for another rant this time attacking 'Cultural Marxism' with the usual stolen meme.

All of this had the distinct whiff of Dowson about it, something Izzy was quick to spot:





 

Throughout this entire conversation the un-named author writing on behalf of the Protestant Coalition maintains that Mr. Dowson was at Laganside Courts today.

So we checked the court lists for today, Tuesday 3rd September 2013.

Mr. Dowson was not up in court today.

The Ulster Herald has picked up on our earlier blog which highlighted the Protestant Coalition's despicable Facebook post concerning the Omagh bombing.

Post linking Omagh bomb to Catholic feast day is ‘despicable’ says victim

A FACEBOOK post by the Protestant Coalition linking the Omagh bomb to a Catholic feast day has been described as “despicable” by a man who lost his wife in the Real IRA atrocity.

Last Thursday, the 15th anniversary of the Omagh bomb, a post on the loyalist political party’s Facebook page featured an image of the carnage left in wake of the bomb, and stated that August 15 was also one of the main days in the Roman Catholic calendar – The Feast of the Assumption.

It stated, “Celebrated every year on August 15, the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary commemorates the death of Mary and her bodily assumption into Heaven!!!!! Many RC atrocities world-wide occur on this day…”

The post concluded by asking Facebook users to “Share the truth folks!”

Kevin Skelton, who lost his wife Philomena in the 1998 attack said the message was in “very bad taste”.
“I don’t know what they are trying to prove by it. It doesn’t represent the vast majority of people out there, there’s no question. Thank god they are a minority.”

INVESTIGATE

The Protestant Coalition, which features Willie Frazer among its founding members, styles itself as an “anti-politics”, loyalist political party.

On Friday Mr Frazer appeared to distance himself from the post, which was removed from Facebook the same day, stating that he had been unaware of it and did not understand why the bombing and the religious feast day were being linked.

“We shouldn’t be doing that, that’s my own personal feeling,” he said, stating that the party would investigate the matter.

“That is not the road we want to go down, this is not about Catholic and Protestant. And although we call ourselves the Protestant Coalition, that’s doesn’t mean we have a problem with people who are Roman Catholic.”

The Protestant Coalition page was temporarily taken down by Facebook last month, prompting Mr Frazer to visit the company’s Dublin headquarters in protest.

‘CATHOLIC TERROR GANG’

The organisation originally named Jim Dowson of the far right Britain First organisation and former BNP fundraiser as its leader when it registered as a political party in April.

On Friday Mr Dowson said that while he personally did not like the post, he maintained that the Omagh bombing had been carried out by “a Catholic terror gang”.

He also claimed that “a lot of atrocities” had been carried out on August 15 over the centuries, but declined to name any specific incidents.

“The people who done (sic) it were a Catholic terror gang, they weren’t an Islamic terror gang, they weren’t a Jewish terror gang, they weren’t a Protestant terror gang,” he said.

“Have you ever heard of a Muslim Irish Republican terror gang? The fact is Irish Republicans are Roman Catholic, that’s the reality, it’s not our fault, it’s a reality, face it,” he stated.

Originally from Scotland, Mr Dowson now lives in Comber, Co Down where his use of the Internet is restricted while he awaits trial on charges arising out of the union flag dispute.

“The minute you try and point out the reality that the republican movement was also a Roman Catholic populated movement, there’s a problem,” he claimed.

But Kevin Skelton, who runs the ‘Families Moving On’ victims support group in Omagh said, “Bringing religion in where Omagh is concerned is despicable, that’s being honest about it.

“They are not being very sensitive and they are not doing anything for victims as far as I’m concerned,” he continued.

“It brings sectarianism into it, but the bomb in Omagh didn’t discriminate. It didn’t care who you were.”

Should we ignore blatant sectarianism and hate speech on Facebook?

Last night we shared the so-called Protestant Coalition's latest attempt to ramp up sectarian tension via hate-speak on  their vile Facebook page.

There is a train of thought that says that we should not pay these vile sectarian bigoted C.U.N.T.s (that's Citizens Under Nationalist Threat to the uninitiated) any attention and just let them wallow in their cesspool of hatred.

However the reaction to their original post and their subsequent equally disgusting replies to perfectly legitimate comments would suggest otherwise.

To remind people; these fuckers were set up and funded by Scottish windbag shit-stirrer ex-BNP man Jim Jim Dowson and are fronted by the questionably sane Wee Willie Frazer. This week their 'chairman' uber-loyalist bucket mouth Sam McCrory said attacking the police was just fine and dandy. McCrory called the perpetrators "unprovoked, innocent and decent". To date no action has been taken by the PSNI to the best of our knowledge.



Last week they promoted and orchestrated the violence that caused millions of pounds worth of damage to Belfast and resulted in many casualties within the ranks of the PSNI. They even had the gall to post a video on You Tube 'celebrating' their 'victory'. We were so incensed we had to subtly alter it:

So to ignore or to highlight this blatant sectarianism and shit stirring?

We, as always, choose the latter. We cannot and will not allow this sort of evil to go un-noticed and many agree with us.

Many took to Facebook to post comments on the Protestant Coalition's Facebook page. The replies from the admin are almost as bad as the original post:


















So far members of the SDLP, Alliance Party and NI21 have taken to Twitter to condemn this but again so far no action has been taken.
